Detailed itinerary for 1 day Entebbe tour and Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary

Option 1: Entebbe tour Botanical Gardens Birding

You will be picked up from your hotel or residence by your tour guide/driver after breakfast to begin the journey to Mabamba bay wetland one of the most prominent birding areas to search for the lovely and rare Show billed stork as well as the Papyrus Yellow Warbler.

You will visit Entebbe botanical gardens after lunch to spot different primates like the black and white Colobus Monkey, Vervet Monkeys, as well as different birds like the Marsh Sandpipers, Common Greenshank, Long-tailed and Great Cormorants, Madagascar Bee-eater, Green Crombec, Orange Weaver, Golden and Yellow-backed weavers, Superb Sunbird, Bare, faced go – away – bird, Ross’s and Great blue Turaco, Grey and Brown Parrots, Palm Swift, Little Swift, Entebbe Weaver (an endemic to Uganda that was recorded at the site only once), White-spotted Flufftail and then conclude with the visit to Uganda wildlife education centre. Option 2: Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Excursion

Have breakfast, and then we proceed to Entebbe waterfront club so that you board a speed boat to Ngamba island chimpanzee sanctuary. You will be welcomed by the day caregiver, and you will rest at the resource center for a briefing about the rules of the island site, you will experience the mid-day feeding session, have lunch at the island and later return to Entebbe with additional compliment entrance to Uganda wildlife education center to get to see some of the animals that have been rehabilitated here. Later in the evening, you will transfer to the airport for your return flight back home. End of services
