Detailed Itinerary for Affordable 3-days Lake Mburo Queen Elizabeth Safari
Day 1: Travel from Entebbe/Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park
After your breakfast, you will be picked up by your safari guide/driver from your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala to begin your journey to Lake Mburo National Park with a stop at the equator for coffee. Take plenty of pictures, and if you need to, you can get some souvenirs to take back home for family and friends. Continue your drive to Lake Mburo. Upon your arrival, you will check into your safari lodge and have lunch.
You will have an afternoon boat cruise, a great opportunity to view different aquatic birds, hippos, and other wildlife at the shores that come to quench their thirst. Later in the evening, you will set out for an evening game drive where you will get to see the beautiful zebras and lots of antelopes, some of which are only found in Lake Mburo. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Transfer from Lake Mburo to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, check out of the safari lodge and depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most scenic national park. Upon your arrival, check into your booked safari lodge and, after lunch, set out for an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga channel for a great opportunity to view different aquatic birds, hippos, Nile crocodiles, and other different animals that may have come to the shores to quench their thirst. Return from the afternoon boat cruise to an adventurous game drive, a good chance to see lots of wild game as they come from their hiding places in the cool of the sun rays. Dinner and overnight at your booked safari lodge.

Day 3: Evening game drive and departure from Queen Elizabeth National Park

Return to the lodge for a full breakfast, refresh, and check out to begin your journey back to Kampala, driving through the ishasha area, a good chance to see the tree-climbing lions.
