Day 1: Travel from Entebbe or Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park

After your breakfast, you’ll be picked up by your safari guide or driver from your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala to begin your journey to Lake Mburo National Park, with a stop at the equator for coffee. Take plenty of pictures, and if you need to, you can get some souvenirs to take back home for family and friends. Continue your drive to Lake Mburo. Upon your arrival, you will check into your safari lodge and have lunch.

You’ll have an afternoon boat cruise, a great opportunity to view different aquatic birds, hippos, and other wildlife at the shores that come to quench their thirst.
