Detailed Itinerary for 4-days Ssese Island Safari Uganda
Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe to Kalangala Ssese island
After your short-day tour around Entebbe town, you will grab a packed lunch and set out to the Nakiwogo stage to board the ferry at exactly 1:30 pm, heading straight to Kalangala. You’re your arrival, you will check into your safari lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: H/B
Day 2: Ssese Island Experience
You will set out after your breakfast to explore this beautiful island on a guided nature walk and go through the different communities on this island, fishing village and so much more. Return to the lodge for lunch. After your lunch, you can decide to relax by the beach, swim, and have an evening campfire while enjoying fried Tilapia fish and French fries. Day 3: Guided Ecological Nature Walk
After your breakfast, with your packed lunch, you will set out for a birding experience. Get to identify different birds on the island with your guide and take plenty of pictures. You will have a stop for lunch and a few minutes to catch your breath before setting out for a cultural experience with the local communities and later in the evening, you can get a perfect viewing point to see the sunset and get a glimpse of other islands in the distance. Day 4: Travel back from Kalangala to Entebbe
This will be quite an early morning. So be up early and after breakfast, you will head to the ferry to start boarding at about 7:30 am and begin your cruise to Entebbe, Nakiwogo stage where you will be picked up and transferred to your booked hotel to freshen up, have lunch and later drive to the airport to check-in for your flight back home.
